Pure titanium (CP-Ti)

Alpha-beta titanium alloys

– Ti6Al4V/GR5 (ASTM F1472, ISO 5832-3);
– Ti6Al4V ELI/GR5 ELI/GR23 (ASTM F136, ISO 5832-3);

– most common high-strength implant alloy;
– Ti6A-7Nb (ASTM F1295) – niobium replaces vanadium for potentially better biocompatibility Beta alloys;
– Ti13Nb13Zr – lower elastic modulus (≈ 75 GPa vs 110 GPa) for better bone load sharing;

All these implant grade titanium rods are vacuum-melted (VAR or EB) and certified to chemistry, microstructure, mechanical properties and biocompatibility limits demanded by ASTM/ISO standard.
